Handheld Travel STEAMR
How much water fits in the water tank and how long can I steam with it?
The water tank is seamlessly integrated into the design of the hand steamer to provide an extra premium and luxurious feel. During the design process, we chose to fully integrate the water reservoir into the device, resulting in a streamlined look. The reservoir is located at the bottom of the handheld steamer and can be easily slid off for refilling. With a capacity of 100 ml of water, this reservoir has an average capacity for a hand steamer. It allows you to steam for about 8 minutes, which is equivalent to treating 1 to 3 garments.
What kind of water can be used in the steamer?
You can use normal tap water in all of our steamers. Unlike most other models on the market, our clothes steamers have a special protective coating internally to prevent limescale. This also makes it possible to use plain tap water. However, it is still necessary to descale the clothes steamer periodically, similar to descaling a kettle. If you notice that the clothes steamer is producing less powerful or consistent steam, it is probably time to descale. Read how to easily descale the clothes steamer here. However, we recommend using distilled water if you want to decrease the amount of times you need to descale the steamer, as this type of filetered water prevents limescale formation.

How strong/powerful is the steam coming out of the hand steamer?
Our hand STEAMRS offer a powerful steam output of 30 g/min, which is considerably stronger than the average steam output of compact handsteamers. The steam is not only powerful and clean, but also kills 99% of all bacteria and dust mites in textiles. This makes it ideal for freshening up garments. The powerful hot steam and the design of the steam head of this steamer are designed to elevator textile fibers, filling them with water. This causes the fibres to swell, and all wrinkles disappear. You don't damage or crush the textile fibers by doing this. This is ideal for color retention and fabric preservation. Way less damaging than using a tradition iron.
Is it normal for the garment I am steaming to get wet?
The heat from the steam produced by the clothes steamer removes wrinkles from textiles by soaking and swelling the textile fibers. Unlike an iron, this ensures that the fabric is uncreased without being flattened or damaged. Keep in mind that the hot steam may leave small damp spots on the garment. We recommend letting the garment dry briefly before putting it on or storing it. However, if your clothes steamer leaks water, this is not your intention. While a few damp spots or drips are acceptable, the steamer should not leak. In this case, contact our customer service for assistance.
Press the garment steamer against the fabric or hold it a few inches away?
Should you press the garment steamer against the fabric or hold it a few inches away while steaming? The answer is simple: press the steam head against the fabric. Just as you would with an iron. A common mistake is not pressing the garment steamer firmly enough against the fabric. To remove wrinkles and creases effectively, it is important to press the steam head against the fabric and apply pressure. Holding the clothes steamer a few centimetres away from the fabric will freshen the fabric but not remove wrinkles, as this requires friction.
In what countries can I use my steamer?
If you have a steamer with an EU or UK plug, it can be used in any country that supports a frequency of 220-240 volts, similar to the voltage in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and most of Europe. Some countries use different voltage or frequency standards, so please ensure you check this before traveling with your steamer.
The steamer will work well in most countries with an adapter, but in countries with different voltage standards, it unfortunately will not function properly. Connecting the steamer to an outlet with a different voltage can result in poor performance or even damage. We strongly advise against using the product unless the voltage matches. Using a converter is unlikely to be effective, as our steamers are too powerful.
Please note that our steamers are not dual voltage, meaning they will not adapt to local voltage or power outlets. We recommend that you always check the voltage standards of your destination before traveling.
Examples of countries where our EU steamers will not work, even with an adapter, include the USA, Mexico, Japan, and Canada.
Professional Garment STEAMRS
Water remains under the water tank, what should I do?
Is it normal for a layer of water to remain under the water tank of the Professional Steamer? Yes, this is totally normal an not harmful at all for the steamer. Some residual water may accumulate under the water tank, which can be easily drained via the specially designed spout next to the on/off button. This remaining layer of water is perfectly normal and harmless to the appliance. During the next use of the appliance, this residual water will be used automatically and will be "swallowed" by the steamer. It is not necessary to empty the water reservoir after each use; it can safely sit until the next time you use the appliance. However, be careful not to leave the water in the appliance for months, as this can cause an unpleasant odor.
I cannot get the plastic around the steam hose off, how can I fix this?
Normally, the plastic around the steam hose, which serves as protection against damage and dirt, is easy to pull off and remove with one movement. However, some customers, especially with the sand-colored steamers, have reported that this didn't work smoothly. We advised gently cutting around the plastic around the hose with a knife to remove the plastic from the hose in these cases. We have discussed this issue with our designers and the factory and will ensure that this is adjusted in the next production batch.

How strong/powerful is the Professional steamer?
The steam strength of our Professional clothes steamer is 50 g/min. This is a very powerful level, making our Pro steamer one of the most powerful garment steamers on the market. We are very proud of our advanced steam technology and the powerful operation of the steamer. Not only is it a picture to behold in terms of design, but it also works like the best.
The powerful hot steam and the design of the steam head of this steamer are designed to elevator textile fibers, filling them with water. This causes the fibres to swell, and all wrinkles disappear. STEAMRS' Professional Clothes Dryer features one of the largest water tanks currently available on the market. This makes using this clothes steamer extremely practical. The water reservoir has a capacity of 3 liters, allowing you to steam for up to 70 minutes. Moreover, you can pause the device in between if necessary.

How does a Fabric Shaver work?
A Fabric Shaver works by using small rotating blades to gently cut lint and pills from the surface of the fabric. The device has a powerful motor and a large shaving surface for efficient operation.
What fabrics can I use the fabric shaver on?
The Fabric Shaver is safe to use on all types of fabrics.
Fabric shaver blocks, what should I do?
Our Fabric Shaver is equipped with a safety system that automatically locks when anything gets between the blades. This safety system is activated when the transparent ring is unscrewed to clean the device. This is an essential function that ensures that the blades cannot cause injury. Make sure that the transparent ring is correctly and firmly replaced on the device after cleaning; otherwise, the Shaver will jam. Pay close attention to this aspect and if necessary, try re-tightening the ring straight and firmly.
Another reason for blockages may be that dust particles have gotten between the blades. First unscrew the transparent ring and then remove the silver protective cap that lies over the blades. Clean the blades thoroughly with the brush provided or by blowing gently. Then screw both rings firmly back into place.

How do I clean the fabric shaver from STEAMRS?
You should remove all lint and lint residue and clean your Fabric Shaver thoroughly after each use. Failure to do so may cause the Fabric Shaver to stop functioning properly. Make sure your Fabric Shaver is turned off before you begin cleaning. Follow the steps below for proper cleaning:

Remove the transparent ring by unscrewing it.

Remove all visible lint.

Remove the silver protective cap (the blade guard that covers the razor blades) by unscrewing it.

Use the included brush to wipe away lint and dust around the razor blades. If necessary, blow well a few times to remove all dust particles.

Then carefully remove the blades as well by pulling them loose.

Clean the Fabric Shaver thoroughly and remove lint, fluff and dust - pay particular attention to the rotor pin to which the razor blade is attached (see image below). This is a place where hair, lint and dust often get stuck, preventing the rotor from rotating. If there is no rotation, the razor blades cannot do their job. Again, use the included brush to clean the Fabric Shaver.
You are now finished! Put all the parts back together and use your Fabric Shaver as usual. Be sure to charge your Fabric Shaver for at least five hours between uses.
What is the difference between a Fabric Shaver and a Lint Roller?
A Fabric Shaver shaves lint and pills from the fabric, while a Lint Roller picks them up by rolling across the surface. Fabric shavers tend to be more efficient for removing pellets/pills and lint rollers are more efficient for picking up hair and loose lint.
How often should I use a Fabric Shaver?
The use of a Fabric Shaver depends on factors such as fabric type, wearing frequency and the degree of lint and pilling. Generally, it is recommended to use it when you notice lint affecting the appearance of the garment. Simply put: see pellets or lint developing on a garment? Get out the shaver!
What are the most important features to look out for when buying a Fabric Shaver?
Important features include a powerful motor, large shaving area, lint reservoir, security function, material and ergonomic design. USB rechargeability and battery life are also relevant.
How do I clean my Fabric Shaver?
The Fabric Shaver can be cleaned by emptying the lint reservoir and gently cleaning the blades. Follow the instructions in the manual. Unscrew the transparent ring from the shaver. Note that sometimes you have to use some force to unscrew the ring. Then, this allows you to brush away all the lint. You can also unscrew the silver ring that sits over the blades for protection. Here you can remove all the lint with the help of the included brush. It also helps to blow into this (above a trash can). Make sure that both rings are screwed back on tight and straight after cleaning, otherwise the device may block for protection.
What is the difference between battery-powered and rechargeable Fabric Shavers?
Battery-powered shavers often require replacing batteries, while rechargeable shavers can be charged via USB for convenience and durability.

How many adhesive sheets are on each roll?
The garment roller is given in a Velour storage bag, containing 3 adhesive rolls. Each roll has 50 adhesive sheets. So with the entire set you can remove lint from textiles about 150 times. Is the travel bag waterproof?
The inside of the travel bag is made completely waterproof. We did this intentionally, considering the possibility that the steamer can sometimes leak a few water droplets after use. This gives the bag excellent protection, making it an ideal steamer bag.
Is the travel bag heat-proof?
The inside of the bag is made of a special canvas fabric that is not only waterproof, but also completely heat-resistant. After use, the steamer may still be hot, but the inside of the travel bag is fully prepared for this. As a result, it is impossible to cause burn marks and the steamer can be safely stored in this steamer bag without any heat risk.
Can I put steamers other than your brand in the travel bag?
Yes definitely, Although the travelbag is designed to the size of our steamers, the travelbag is certainly also suitable to hold any other kind of steamer, from other brands. The travelbag has a size of: L 35cm x W 13cm x H 17cm so be sure to check if the other clothes steamer will fit in here too!

How do dryer balls made from sheep's wool work?
Laundry dryer balls are multipurpose tools that soften your laundry, reduce drying time, reduce wrinkles and remove hair from clothes. They work by placing balls near the laundry in the dryer, which reduces the amount of laundry sticking together during the drying process. This allows for better air circulation, so laundry dries faster and wrinkles are less likely to appear.
In addition, dryer balls made of Sheep Wool make little to no noise in the dryer. They also have a magnetic effect on (pet) hair, which is removed from clothing and left on the balls. These balls are easy to clean and can be reused for up to 1000+ drying cycles.
They are a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to chemical fabric softeners. Each set of STEAMRS contains 6 soft, woolen balls made from Merino sheep's wool, packaged in a convenient cotton storage bag.
The dryer balls fluff, is this normal? Are they giving off on my laundry?
Absolutely. When you first remove the dryer balls from the cotton bag, they may be covered with lint. After the first drying, these lint will disappear completely and will not reappear. The dryer balls do not emit lint to the laundry; in fact, they act magnetically on (pet) hair and lint, removing it from your clothes.
After drying, dryer balls are easy to clean by removing the lint with your hand over a trash can. Then they are ready for reuse on the next drying cycle.
How many times can I reuse the dryer balls?
The dryer balls can be reused more than 1,000 times, allowing you to enjoy them for an incredibly long time. They keep their compact and sturdy shape and will not fall apart.
Is it true that dryer balls smell very strong?
Yes! When you receive the bag with the sheep wool dryer balls, they may still smell strongly. Fear not: after just one use in the dryer, this smell will be gone. The smell does not give off on the clothes. So you don't have to worry about this at all.

My delivery has not arrived, what should I do?
Have you placed an order through our website? Then we will send you an email the day before delivery containing a track & trace link from DHL Parcel, so you can follow the delivery. This link is also available in your customer account when you log in to our website. Should the track & trace indicate that the package has been delivered, but you have not received anything? We have experienced in the past that the package was delivered within 24 hours. If you still haven't received anything the next day, please contact us directly via email: [email protected].
I have a problem with the item I received. What should I do?
We strive to deliver your new fashion-care gadget(s) safely and in excellent condition. If the quality does not meet your expectations or if the item does not function properly, we kindly ask you to send us a message immediately, possibly with an attached photo of the damage. That way we can investigate with you what went wrong and offer an appropriate solution. We are extremely proud of the quality we offer, both in our products and in our service. So don't hesitate to raise the alarm!
How can I track my order?
After you place an order through our website, you will automatically receive a confirmation email. In addition, a track & trace email will also be sent to you. The track & trace code will also be added to your account. When you log into our website with your email address and password, you can easily find the track & trace link for your most recent order. Should you not receive an email, please contact us. If there are any changes in the track & trace, you will receive a notification.
Returns & Warranty
I received a defective item, what should I do?
We are truly terribly sorry that you received a defective product from us. We never ship used (or returned) items, but you may well have received a product that has suffered factory damage or a defect. This is of course absolutely not the intention and we really think this is the most terrible thing there is. Please contact us by emailing us at [email protected] and we will do everything we can to resolve this for you immediately.
What is the return period for my order?
I want to return an order, how do I do this?
How unfortunate that your order was not a match after all. No problem! Simply create a return report by logging into your customer account on our website, and create a return report from there. What is the warranty period for STEAMRS items?
We offer a 1-year warranty on hand steamers and the Fabric Shaver, and a 2-year warranty on the Professional Clothes Steamer. For other items, the legal warranty period applies. Learn more about our warranty terms here.
I want to exchange a product, how do I do this?
Is the color not what you expected after all, or would you prefer to receive a different type of product from STEAMRS? It is possible to exchange the item, within 14 days of receiving the order. Send an email to [email protected] with an exchange request and we will arrange it for you.

Can I also order a gift card?
Yes, it is certainly possible to buy a gift card in our webshop. You can choose from different amounts that will be placed as credit on the card. After you have completed the payment, we will send you a confirmation by e-mail. If you have ordered a digital gift card you will receive the gift card by email. It is also possible to have the gift-card mailed to an email address other than your own, as a gift. The text of the mail will also be different and the person will see that it is a gift ordered through you. How can I change my order?
If you still wish to cancel or change a placed order, you may do so by sending an email to [email protected] quoting the order number. Please note that our orders are usually shipped the same day (before 6 p.m.) on business days. It is possible that the package has already been shipped if you change your mind one day after placing the order. If this is the case, we will check with you for return or exchange options.

Will I be sent a track & trace of my shipment?
Yes sure, the track&trace of your order is automatically added to your order and also emailed to you. When you log into your customer account on our website, you can find the track&trace link with your order. Note: this can sometimes take a day before this track&trace appears with your order.
It says Pinpoint Parents in the trackIng email I received, is this correct?
Some packages from our warehouse are currently shipped with a track&trace mail under the name of Pinpoint Parents. Did you see this name on the track&trace and are you unsure if this is us? Yes sure, this is the track & trace of your STEAMRS package. We are working behind the scenes to adjust and change this name in the tracking mails.
