Today, STEAMRS is more than a product - it is a brand for people who value convenience, style, and quality. And this is only the beginning.

How STEAMRS began
A photoshoot for bedding
In 2020, founders Thomas & Charlotte decided to join forces. One came from marketing, the other from the world of luxury bed linen - together, they knew everything about textiles and fabrics.
During a bed linen photoshoot, they discovered their shared frustration: ironing. Not only time-consuming and tiring, but also highly damaging to textile fibers. After all that ironing, the bed was made, and the duvet cover was completely wrinkled again. Surely there had to be an easier and faster way?
The idea for a designer garment steamer was born. Powerful, stylish, top quality - and above all: a true wrinkle killer that doesn't damage fibers.
Goodbye, iron. Hello, garment steamer.
Design & Development
Together with leading product developers from the Netherlands and technology experts, the idea was transformed into a concrete design. The requirements were high: a steamer that heats up quickly, delivers powerful steam, is safe for all kinds of fabrics, cares for textiles instead of damaging them, and eliminates bacteria and odors.
In addition, the device had to be compact, feel sturdy, have a high-quality finish (no plastic look!) and feature a sleek, streamlined design that looks good on display. After countless prototypes, tests, and refinements, the first STEAMRS garment steamer was born: a combination of technology, style, and ease of use.
The launch
Introducing STEAMRS
On Friday, June 9, 2021, we launched our very first STEAMRS garment steamer - and we could never have dreamed of what happened next. The entire first batch of our black steamer sold out in no time.
Incredible. We’re so proud and grateful that so many people are now steaming their clothes with our steamer. What started as an idea at the kitchen table has grown into a product that is used daily in hundreds of households. And this is just the beginning. 💙

Functional, efficient, and just as thoughtfully designed as our garment steamers: luxurious, minimalist, and made to last.
With this expansion, we’re transforming from a brand known for garment steamers into a brand with a broader mission: everything you need to care for your clothes at their best.
Product for professional, intensive & long-term use
Following countless requests from fashion stores, studios, and showrooms, we once again sat down at the drawing board with our product developers. The goal? To develop a professional garment steamer for intensive use: with an extra-large water tank, longer steaming time, and enough power to stay on all day. Height-adjustable, mobile, and designed with such a sleek appearance that it deserves to be seen on the shop floor.
The result: our first upright STEAMRS garment steamers. Made for professionals, but also perfect for home use - for anyone who wants to steam more than one or two garments.

The STEAMRS team has grown considerably, and our label has developed into a fully-fledged fashion care brand with an extensive collection - something we are incredibly proud of.
