Description
Powerful steam for home use, for several outfits in a row. Safe for all fabrics* and more powerful than a handheld steamer, with 40 grams of steam per minute. Ready to use in just 45 seconds, and with its 2.5-liter water tank, you can steam for up to 60 minutes without refilling. Hang your clothes on the included pole and clothes hanger, and steam horizontally or vertically. The pole has a fixed height. Also suitable for curtains, bedding, table linens, and more.
The MIDI is not suitable for prolonged, intensive daily use in stores. In that case, choose the Professional.

Who is the MIDI for?
For home use, when you regularly steam several outfits in a row or want to freshen up curtains and bedding too. With 1700W and 40 grams of steam per minute it is more powerful than a handheld steamer. For long, intensive daily use in a shop, choose the Professional.
How long can I steam on one tank?
The 2.5-litre water tank gives up to 60 minutes of steam without refilling.
How quickly is the MIDI ready?
Within 45 seconds, powerful, thick steam comes out of the steam head.
Which fabrics can I use the MIDI on?
Almost all fabrics, including delicate ones like silk, satin, cashmere and wool. Only leather, suede and velvet are not suitable. It also handles curtains, bedding and table linen with ease.
What is the difference between the MIDI and the Professional?
The MIDI is made for home use: 1700W and 3 bar, a 2.5-litre tank and a fixed-height pole. The Professional is more powerful (2200W and 5 bar), has a 3-litre tank, is height-adjustable and is built for daily, intensive use, including in shops.
Which water should I use in the steamer?
If you live in a soft-water area, regular tap water is fine. With hard, chalky water we recommend distilled, deionised or filtered water. Never put laundry perfume, scented ironing water, essential oils or cleaning products in the tank. Read more about which water to use.
How do I descale the MIDI?
Limescale residue builds up in the boiler over time. So descale your steamer regularly; at least once every six months, more often with hard water or if the steam output decreases. Not using it for a while? Always empty the tank, because standing water can also leave limescale inside. Limescale damage is not covered by the warranty. Read step by step how to descale.
My steamer stopped steaming, what now?
First check that there is enough water in the tank, that the tank is properly in place and that the plug is fully in the socket. Then let the steamer heat up completely. Still little or no steam? Limescale may be the cause: descale your steamer. If that doesn't help, contact us.
How do I detach the hanger from the pole?
The hanger part is fixed on purpose so it doesn't come loose while steaming. A simple technique releases it. See how to do it here.
What if I'm not happy or the steamer breaks?
You have 14 days to try your order at home. You also get a 2-year warranty. Is your steamer faulty? Email us at info@steamers.nl with your 4-digit order number and a short video in which we can see or hear the fault. It is the first thing we will ask for, so this way we can help you straight away. Please note: damage caused by limescale (if your steamer has not been descaled every six months) or by dry boiling (switching it on without water in the tank) is not covered by the warranty.
Why does the MIDI sometimes leave damp spots?
The MIDI does not use dry-steam technology, so damp spots can appear. Let your garment hang and dry for about a minute after steaming. Keep the steam head upright and the hose as straight as possible, without sagging bends.
Is water underneath the tank a leak?
A small layer of water in the recess beneath the tank is normal and part of the design. It keeps water by the heating element. If water appears beside the unit, check that the cap is closed tightly, the tank sits straight and the surface is level.
Why does the water tank not click into place?
The MIDI tank does not click into place. It may wobble slightly when empty; when filled, its weight keeps it steady. Replace it with the cap facing down. Never run the steamer without water, and refill in time.
