Cleaning and reassembling

  1. Unscrew the transparent ring

    Turn the transparent ring clockwise (to the right) and take it off.

  2. Unscrew the metal ring

    Also turn the metal guard ring with holes clockwise (to the right) to loosen it.

  3. Remove the blades

    Hold the white part with the blades by the sides and gently pull it towards you.

  4. Clean everything

    Remove all fuzz and pills with the brush, also between the blades. Blow away the last bits if needed.

Careful when putting it back together

Click the blades back onto the pin and screw both rings back on straight and tight, anticlockwise (to the left). If a ring is crooked, or there is still lint between the blades, the shaver blocks itself for safety. The green light is on, but the blades do not turn.

How do you use the Fabric Shaver?
Lay the garment flat so the fabric is nice and smooth. Turn the shaver on and gently move the head over the fabric. No need to press: the blades do the work and the fuzz ends up in the lint container. Also see the manual.

Will shaving damage the fabric or make it thinner?
No, quite the opposite. Many shavers on the market shave very aggressively, so your garment gets a little thinner with every pass. We design all our products to care for fabrics, never to damage them. After a long time of testing, fine-tuning and tweaking, we developed a shaver that only picks up the pills, snags and fuzz sitting on top of the fabric. It shaves effectively, but never affects the fabric itself.

Which materials can I use the Fabric Shaver on?
The Fabric Shaver is safe on all kinds of fabrics, even the most delicate ones. Just make sure the fabric lies flat and smooth.

What can I use the Fabric Shaver for?
For sweaters, coats, scarves and socks, but also for your sofa, armrests and blankets. Wherever there is fuzz and pilling, you make the fabric look new again.

How long does the battery last?
A full battery gives you 60 minutes of shaving. The shaver is cordless and charges with the included USB cable.

When is the Fabric Shaver fully charged?
The battery is fully charged after about 5 hours. The blinking light around the power button shows the shaver is charging. The light turns white once it is fully charged. Handy: you can keep shaving while it charges.

How do I clean the Fabric Shaver?
Empty the lint container regularly. Unscrew the transparent ring and the metal ring with holes, pull off the white part with the blades and clean everything with the included brush or by blowing on it. Then screw both rings back on straight and tight. That keeps your shaver working at its best.

My shaver suddenly stopped working (the light is on), what now?
This is almost always because the shaver blocks itself for safety. That happens when lint is stuck between the blades, or when the transparent ring or the metal ring with holes is not screwed on straight. The light still shows green, but the blades do not turn. Take the shaver fully apart and clean it as shown below:

  1. Unscrew the transparent ring

    Turn the transparent ring clockwise (to the right) and take it off.

  3. Remove the blades
