How much water fits in the steamer, how long can I steam with this?
100ml of water goes into the water reservoir of this steamer. Easy to fill and super compact. Ideal for steaming 2-3 garments. The hand steamer is the perfect tool for quick touch-ups just before you head out the door. With one filled reservoir, you steam for about 8 to 10 minutes non-stop. Of course, you can stop in between.
Do I use tap water or distilled water in the steamer?
You can safely use tap water in our garment steamers. Our steamers are not only luxurious on the outside, but also on the inside. Thanks to a special coating, our steamers are more resistant to limescale than other steamers, which means you are less likely to experience limescale build-up.
Nevertheless, we recommend descaling your steamer every 3-6 months, even with the coating in place. For optimal results, we recommend using distilled water, as it contains no minerals that can cause limescale. A useful tip is to alternate: use tap water one time and distilled water the next. In this way, your steamer will remain in excellent condition.

For best results, press the steam head directly against the fabric, just as you would with an iron. A common mistake is to not press the handheld steamer firmly enough against the fabric. To effectively remove wrinkles and creases, it is important to apply pressure and slide the steam head across the fabric. Holding the steamer a few inches from the fabric will refresh the fabric but will not remove wrinkles, as friction is necessary to smooth them out.
